Insanity part 2

Oh man people! Today was not a very good day. It was hectic at work again. We have this sale going on called bogo which is buy one get one either 50% off or free.  So I had to go around my department and pull all the signs that were going bogo for tomorrow. It took me 5 hours to get most of the signs that qualified for the sale. Argh it was frustrating.

Day two of insanity was tonight and it went ok. Very tiring. So I am exhausted so I am cutting this blog short. A longer one to come tomorrow night.

Insanity!!!

Hello fellow bloggers. Sorry that I forgot to blog last night but as you can tell by the title of this blog it was insane. First of all work was hectic. And that is really an understatement. My fellow co worker and I had a pretty hard day yesterday. Nothing was going right for us at all. Things weren't scanning the price that they should have been scanning. Today was worse but that is a story I will blog about tonight.

I got off around 430 and decided that I would go for a jog before I did my Insanity workout. Bad idea. It was really hot out and it was terrible. Then came the fun part. For the ones that don't know what Insanity is then here is a definition that I have came up with... insanity is crazy!! It is just non stop cardio that pushes you to your limit. Well folks there is your definition haha.

Last night my good friend Shawn Strong and I decided that we would start over at the beginning of the workout. We also decided that last week was an introduction to the madness that is Insanity. So the workout last night was Pure Cardio. It was crazy but we did alot better than last week. I was really proud of ourself. Now comes the fun part. Another workout tonight!! Really stoked for it. So till next time (Which will be in a couple hours) I will say farewell.

Insane in the Membrane

Well fellow bloggers. Today was an amazing day. Woke up around 930 so I could get ready to go to church at Westway and worship with my friends and fellow Christians. After church, I went with my good friend Gabe Bruton to Dusty and Becky's house to help them unload the gear from the Delusions of Pluto concert that was held at the Midwest Theatre. Later on in the afternoon, Gabe, Nathan Dennis and Matthew Lawton went to the new Rise of the Planet of the Apes movie.
The movie blew my mind!! It was amazing. I would definitely go to it again. But before we went to the movie. We listened to the new Owl City album called All Things Bright and Beautiful. There is a song on the album called Deer in the headlights. It is probably one of my favorite songs right now. Here is a part of the lyrics...

Met a girl in the parking lot. And all I did was say hello. Her pepper spray made it rather hard. For me to walk her home. But I guess that's the way it goes. The lyrics speak for themselves. Its an incredible song. The one thing I like about Owl City is that he is not afraid to talk about his faith in God. He is very vocal about it and it shows. For instance, there is a called Galaxies.

The chorus goes something like this. Dear God, I was terribly lost, When the galaxies crossed, And the Sun went dark. Dear God, You're the only North Star, I would follow this far. This song seems to be saying that his love for Jesus is beyond the Galaxies.

After all of that we came back to my apartment and we had pizza and watched some movie trailers. Then at about ten thirty I went for a two and a half mile run because my buddy was heading back from the lake. We have been doing Insanity (I will blog about that tomorrow night). Now we are playing some Kinect on the 360. With that it is my turn. I will blog ya guys tomorrow night.
